Below is the itinerary for our highly successful 2010 track days just gone. We are now working on our 2011 calendar. ------------------------- Wheelsports are running another of their Les Circuits Gentleman’s Trackday events in France taking in four circuits in one week. The event will commence on Sunday 20th June with participants arriving at their hotel in Pau during the afternoon and evening. On Monday 21st the day will be spent at circuit Pau Arnos with single seaters and Legends being available for hire in addition to own car driving on the circuit. On Tuesday 22nd the second trackday will be held at Nogaro which is a pleasant one hour drive to the north returning that evening to Pau for the third night. On Wednesday 23rd the event checks out of the hotel in Pau and heads north for another three nights in a second hotel in central France from which the third and fourth circuits will be visited. On Thursday 24th there will be a track day at Mas du Clos, a circuit which is well known to most of us for its long association with all things Ferrari. This will be followed on Friday 25th by the final track day of the event, at Circuit Mornay which is another interesting private circuit in a beautiful parkland setting within the grounds of Chateau Mornay just outside of the small town of Bonnat. There will be an informal Kart race at the end of the day followed by a finale dinner in the hotel. Wheelsports events tend to attract the owners of high end Sports and GT cars who enjoy both the social and driving aspects of the events, characterized by high driving standards and event safety. The Wheelsports team led by Barry Carpenter and Martin Braybrook will have available, a Qualified ARDS instructor, available throughout the event, plus a paramedic/ambulance which travels with the event. Les Circuits 2010 will be from the 20th to 26th June 2010
Single seaters and Legends will be available for hire at Pau Arnos and we will conclude our week with an informal kart race and finale dinner at Mornay August 2010 Circuit de Bretagne Circuit de Bretagne will be on the 20th and 21st August 2010
We are returning to one of our favorite French Circuits for two days in August again next year. The Circuit de Bretagne was purpose built in the ‘80’s as the Venturi (French F40 look-alike) test track near Nantes in Brittany. It is an easy and pleasant drive from Cherbourg, Caen or St Malo with lots of places of interest to visit along the route should you wish to do so. Since Venturi went out of production some years ago the circuit has been used for training purposes and track day use only and as it is not a spectator circuit there is very little in the way of Armco and other solid objects to make contact with in the unlikely event that you reach the point where your enthusiasm exceeds your ability. The track has a 1km straight as well as a wide variety of corners and very grippy tarmac so even if it rains (unlikely we hope) there will still be plenty of fun to be had. We will also be returning to the Bol D’Or restaurant in the village close to the circuit for the usual excellent three course lunch which is free to all participants on both days of the event. The hotel bar is also very popular at the end of the day as is the restaurant all of which contributes to a very relaxing and enjoyable break in Brittany. Early booking is advised to secure your place on this very popular event. ----------------------- Our full PDF brochure and booking forms are available and the above dates are firm so we recommend all who are interested in joining us on either of these events to register your interest as soon as possible Wheelsports Ltd. 188 Empress Road, Southampton SO14 0JY Contact: Martin Braybrook + 44(0)2380 237070 or +44(0)7776 085557
