THE DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN'S DRIVE

The Distinguished Gentlemans Drive is a celebration of classic style. Founded in 2021, this next drive will be taking place on Sunday 29th September 2024. It is an on-road motoring event, uniting pre-'80s classic cars, designed to encourage enthusiasts and vintage car owners around the world to dress dapper and drive for men’s health. Funds raised by our Distinguished Gentlefolk support our charity partner, Movember. These funds are invested in vital research and programs for prostate cancer and men's mental health to support the wellbeing of men all around the world. The Distinguished Gentlemans Drive is a themed event, where drivers and their passengers dress dapper to complement the elegant design of their vehicles.

Eligibility criteria for a vehicle to enter in DGD
Vehicles built before 31 December 1984 are eligible to participate.
Vehicles must be registered and insured to participate.
Vehicles must be in a suitable and safe condition for driving.
Vehicle must be under 3 tonnes in weight.
Built before 31 December 1984

Replica Exceptions
Replica’s of Pre-1984's cars that are built after 1984 are permitted to take part. As a general guideline Cobras, GT40s, GTOs or Porsche 356s are accepted under the replica exception, we request they visually be period correct.

Run-on Model Exceptions
Run-on models are cars that have the same shape as their pre 1980 predecessors. These run-on models are the exact same shape, bodywork and chassis as the pre-1984s model, irrespective of build date.
