Brookspeed are a privately owned company with a high level of customer service at our two garage Service and Sales facilities plus an extremally rich history in International Motorsport.
- At our Chandlers Ford branch we are servicing and retailing some of the most desirable cars available. PORSCHE, McLAREN, MERCEDES AMG, FERRARI, and AUDI.
- At our Eastleigh site we specialise in the servicing and sales of Audi and Volkswagen vehicles including VW T5 and T6 Transporter models.
Operations Manager
About the role
As Operations manager you will report to the General Manager assisting in the day to day running of two busy automotive sales and service facilities. You must recognize and be able to implement a high level of customer service. A good understanding and ability to learn IT such as Microsoft applications and garage booking systems.

Ideally, you will have a love of all things Automotive and be excited by success. Have a pride in your work and your representation of the company. Have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle sales, repairs and servicing.

Full Time Receptionist
Responsibilities and Duties
- To greet all customers and visitors whether by phone or in person in a professional and courteous manner.
- To ensure phones are answered promptly and courteously at all times, ensuring that an apology is given to the caller should this objective not be met and that continued communication is maintained with the customer should they be placed on hold.
- To ensure phones are manned at all times.
- To ensure that messages taken are accurate and passed on to the relevant personnel promptly.
- To ensure all calls are correctly qualified.
- To ensure that the Reception and Customer Waiting Areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- To ensure refreshment is offered to any customer seated in the Customer Waiting Area.
- All sickness and holiday absences to have necessary cover by ensuring that each member of the Reception Team are able to contact each other outside of working hours if necessary, providing total cover at all times.
- To ensure that all telephone extension faults are reported immediately to the manager and logged in the Reception Diary.
- To ensure all external and internal post, both incoming and outgoing is passed to Admin promptly.
- Typing of general correspondence when requested.
Qualifications and Skills
You will have excellent communication skills, be efficient and able to work within a team.
You'll learn quickly, deliver high levels of customer service and have a friendly and approachable personality, as well as committed, well presented and reliable.

About the role
As a Vehicle Technician you will be working with our team of talented team of Technicians, responsible for the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles for our customers. Using state of the art diagnostic tools and equipment, the role is varied and rewarding, along with the opportunity to work with one of the largest ranges of electric vehicles.
About you
You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing. Diagnostic skills and experience in problem-solving are not essential but are desirable.

Car Cleaner - Driver - Handyman.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be a part of our fast growing prestige and performance car dealership located at Chandlers Ford Southampton. We are a professional and friendly dealership with a great team. We pride ourselves on extremely high standards and our stock portfolio reflects this.
Applicants must have a very high level of attention to detail, be able to work in a methodical fashion, use their own initiative and work independently or in a team when required. Previous experience with valeting and detailing is required. Some mechanical knowledge would be a welcome benefit too. Must have a full UK driving license and Saturday morning availability when/if required. Extremely competitive rates of pay offered for the right candidate who can demonstrate the skills required to grow alongside the company.
Daily Duties Include -
- Cleaning and preparing vehicles for sale and to display in the showroom.
- Carrying out interior detailing, wet and dry vacuuming and some exterior washes.
- Three stage machine polishing and paint correction at all levels using paint depth gauge.
- Steam cleaning of exterior and interior areas.
- Undertaking additional duties that may be required by management.
- Upholstery & leather refreshing.
- Visual inspection and appraisal of vehicles.
- Vehicle movements around sites.
- Small paintwork touch ups, alloy wheel touch ups and carpet repairs.
Key Skills & Experience Required -
- Good communication skills with management and the team
- A meticulous eye for detail, going above and beyond the call of duty
- Ability to work under pressure for meeting deadlines and timescales
- Previous detailing experience and knowledge for preparing cars
- A keen interest in cars alongside knowledge of brands and models
- A team player but also happy to work independently
- Must be presentable and articulate
