• At our Chandlers Ford branch we are servicing and retailing some of the most desirable cars available. PORSCHE, McLAREN, MERCEDES AMG, FERRARI, and AUDI.
• At our Eastleigh site we specialise in the servicing and sales of Audi and Volkswagen vehicles including VW T5 and T6 Transporter models.

Skilled Technician

We are looking for an individual that takes pride in their work and would like to work in our service department servicing and maintaining vehicles of the highest quality.

The role:
You will be working with a talented and friendly team of Technicians, responsible for the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles for our customers. Using diagnostic tools and equipment, the role is varied and rewarding. We deal with the problems main dealers don’t have the flexibility to resolve.

About you:
You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
Ideally, you will have the ability to work within given timescales and the ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing. Diagnostic skills and experience in problem-solving are essential.

Job Summary

Are you an expert with fabric, leather, vinyl, and stitching? Do you take pride in flawless interiors? We need a skilled Automotive Trimmer to join our busy workshop.

If you have experience crafting custom car interiors, or if you come from a marine trimming background working on boat covers and seating, your sharp eye for detail will fit right in here. We value great hands-on craft skills above all else.

Duties

·       Create and restore custom car seats, headliners, door panels, and carpets.

·       Work with various materials like leather, vinyl, Alcantara, and specialized marine fabrics.

·       Operate industrial sewing machines and cutting tools with high precision.

·       Fit and install finished trim components neatly into vehicles.

·       Inspect your work to make sure it meets our high quality standards.

·       Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the job process.

Skills

·       Proven experience as an automotive trimmer, auto upholsterer, or marine trimmer.

·       Strong ability to read patterns, measure accurately, and cut materials clean.

·       Confidence using industrial sewing machines and hand tools.

·       A strong eye for detail and high standards of finish.

·       Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

·       A positive attitude and willingness to learn new vehicle types.
