Brookspeed is proud to once again host the Southampton route of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive — an international charity motoring event celebrating classic style and vintage motoring and raising awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.

On Sunday 27th September 2026, classic car enthusiasts across the world will don their finest attire and take to the roads in pre-1987 vehicles, joining a global movement that unites style, community, and purpose.

Our Southampton drive brings together owners of classic, sports, and vintage cars for a relaxed morning of driving followed by a social gathering among fellow enthusiasts.

We hope you can join us for The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive #southampton 2026 event on Sunday 27th September 2026.
Starting at Brookspeeds Chandlers Ford site and heading out into the countryside for a leisurely 60 mile drive. The destination still to be decided. With a maximum of 40 vehicles.

Classic Cars 40 Years or Older
This means anything built before 31st December 1986. Period-correct replicas are also accepted, along with run-on models in the same shape as their 40 year old predecessors.

Dress Dapper
The event is about dressing in your finest attire - this means classic-inspired suits and accessories, with stylish hats, gloves, and polished brogues. Classic style to match your classic machine.

Driving for Men’s Health
The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive supports men's health through our charity partner, Movember. Together with Movember, we are raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men's mental health programs.

Eligibility Criteria For A Vehicle To Enter In DGD
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive is for vehicles 40 years or older. Its purpose is to connect classic motoring enthusiasts around the world with dapper charm to bring about an event that is both unique and spectacular. All vehicles in The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive must be built before December 31st, 1986, with all but a few exceptions of replicas and run-on models.
