Brookspeed are delighted to offer for sale this highly individual Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Manual, registered in December 2009 and finished in the particularly desirable Aqua Blue Metallic with Ocean Blue Leather. Having covered 90,581 miles, this is a Carrera 4S that has clearly been enjoyed, developed and meticulously maintained throughout its life, resulting in a genuinely unique and highly usable 911.
This is not simply another Carrera 4S. The car has been extensively developed by its previous owners with a carefully considered combination of OEM Porsche components, specialist upgrades and bespoke detailing, while retaining the character and usability that makes the 997 Carrera 4S such an appealing modern classic.
At the heart of the car is Porsche’s renowned 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six, coupled to the increasingly desirable 6-speed manual gearbox and Porsche’s four-wheel-drive system. The Carrera 4S offers the wider body of the Turbo alongside naturally aspirated performance, giving the car an excellent combination of traction, pace and everyday usability.
Importantly, the engine underwent a full Hartech rebuild in 2019 at 63,000 miles, with the invoice retained within the history file. Hartech are highly respected Porsche specialists, and the rebuild represents a significant investment in the mechanical integrity of the car. Since then, the car has continued to receive OEM and specialist servicing, together with more recent extensive work commensurate with its age and mileage.
The chassis has also been thoughtfully upgraded, including RSS semi-solid engine mounts and a DSC PASM upgrade, helping to sharpen the car’s response and further enhance the already impressive dynamics of the 997 Carrera 4S.
Visually, this is where the car really becomes something different.
The car is currently finished in a Rothmans-inspired wrap, which has been on the car for approximately three and a half years. Beneath the wrap, the original Aqua Blue Metallic paintwork remains, meaning the next owner has the option of retaining the distinctive Rothmans appearance or returning the car to its original Aqua Blue finish.
The exterior has been extensively transformed using a number of genuine Porsche components and carefully selected upgrades. The car features OEM GT3 RS front and rear bumpers, OEM GT3 RS front splitter and GT3 RS-style side skirts, together with a GT3 RS-style carbon-fibre rear wing. A sports exhaust and 19-inch Vertini Magic Concave alloy wheels complete the more purposeful appearance.
The attention to detail continues inside, where the original Ocean Blue Leather interior has been enhanced with a range of bespoke touches. The Sports Chrono housing, reading light cluster, centre console and seat belts have all been finished in Aqua Blue, complementing the exterior colour beneath the wrap.
The cabin also features a Sports steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara, with the lower dashboard and glovebox similarly finished in Alcantara. Custom-made door inserts, SRP Racing billet pedals with Aqua Blue insert stripe and a carbon-dipped luggage compartment protector add further individuality.
All internal lighting has also been upgraded to LED, while the seats feature the desirable Porsche crest embossed into the head restraints.
The factory specification is particularly strong and includes Sports Chrono Package Plus, heated seats, cruise control, Park Assist, extended navigation for PCM 3.0, Bose Surround Sound and Sports Seats.
Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of this particular Carrera 4S is its history with Brookspeed. We have known the car and its previous owners for many years, including the past four owners, and knew the car before the extensive work was carried out in 2019. This gives us an unusual level of familiarity with the car’s history and development, rather than simply offering a vehicle that has recently arrived with us.
